A few months ago, Trixie was doing just fine. She drove great, got a new front bumper, the boyfriend was even starting to paint her pink & glitter her up. Then we were driving in traffic on the highway and she just wouldn't go. Her transmission is dead. I've agonized a lot over what to do about Trixie. It like her style of car, a 2 door with a sunroof & she could be really fancy & cool, if we ever got her all dolled up in pink, glitter & Hello Kitty. Unfortunately, the transmission repair is a couple of grand & I just don't have that kind of cash laying around. If I sell her, I can use the money to buy a car with a ridiculously good warranty & while I'll then be making payments, I won't have the fear of large expenses & what's going to break next. I think this might be the end...

And another trip to the ER for Trixie
Recently, Trixie was driving me to Starbucks and ran over a pickaxe. This resulted in a required trip to the ER (Garrett Automotive in Kennesaw, GA). Thankfully, they took great care of her and she's back on the road again, still a mottled mess of fiberglass and bondo and Hello Kitty bandaid stickers but who cares. Now the question of "Who leaves a pickaxe in the middle of the damn road?!" will haunt me forever. Does this mean that Trixie had some sort of beef against construction workers? Maybe a star crossed lover left it there so she'd fine it and know she was missed? Yes, I am insane.
